907 The Body Shop Shea Hand Cream Review

Updated: Jan 2

Well, I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I have ever found a hand cream that is better than this one. They have found the perfect balance for a hand cream if you ask me. The scents are nice, the packaging is perfect for everyday use, the price is okay, and the formula doesn’t stick around for ages when you apply it. It is just everything you want in a hand cream don’t you think? I am not sure how many but there are more than 7 scents in this cream.

I think I have tried most of the scents, the only one so far that hasn’t made me want more is the pink grapefruit. Everyone I know is always asking if I have one of these creams on me because they want to use it a bit. It is a light formula but not so much that it runs away when you open the tube, enough so it sinks into your skin nicely and you are dropping pens while you are trying to write. I hate it when you try a new cream, and it works out to be greasy for ages after.

One thing I did not know is the cream is a gel formula, which explains why it dries quickly and doesn’t feel greasy or heavy. Now I am thinking about it, it is a very calm or cooling feeling when you apply it. It doesn’t look like gel either, a gel is usually shiny, or you can almost see through a thin layer, but this has a bit of body to it. I am a good way through another one of their creams at the minute. I can’t remember what scent though; I think it is either Moringa or Satsuma both of which are gorgeous.

The only small, teeny concern I have is that the small tube is £5, which seems a lot for what it is, it works out at £1 for 6mls (not much, you can get a 10ml face mask for £1). To combat this problem, I wait until they are on sale, and I buy quite a few at a time. They often have a deal where you buy 4 or more of anything to get 40% off. Works out cheaper than buying the bigger tubes as well.

I think these are great for throwing into presents as a little add-on, hand cream is not something I tend to treat myself to often, I just get it if it is convenient, so I think it is nice to receive it as a present. I currently have a few different ones on the go so I won’t need to get a new one any time soon, but I will buy this product again when I get around to needing more. I would recommend it to others to use and I have already repurchased various other scents as I said before. I don’t think this is my favourite scent, but it isn’t my least favourite. If you want to give it a go, follow the link below or go to your local store. 30ml is £5 and 100ml is £12.
