206 The Body Shop Honeymania Hand Cream

I bought this purely for the size of the tube and it was practically free as I got some discount because I bought 4 things. There was a deal that if you bought 4 items then I got a 40% discount which is half price, so I paid about £30 for items worth £50. I did think it was going to sit in the back of my drawer collecting dust, but you may already know that I am on a mission to use all my beauty products before I buy more. As I made this decision, I thought I would put my least favourite scent and put it in my bag, if I can use that I am going to use the scents I prefer, and it means I am more likely to use it to get to my favourite scent.

I am a little worried about using this product over the summer because it does smell of honey, I am probably not going to have any issues, but bugs are attracted to honey, and I don’t like bugs. Never mind, I haven’t had an issue yet so it might mean that bugs are smart so they can tell what honey is compared to what real honey is.

The size of the tube is perfect for your handbag, it’s not bulky, it’s not heavy and it is easy to spot in the bottom of a big bag due to the colours on the packaging. It is also a good material; it isn’t plastic that is going to bounce back to shape after each use. It stays in the shape you put it in making it easier to get the products out of the tube. Strangely I like the cap of the tube, it is easy to get a good grip, and everyone knows the struggle of put the lid back on a pot of cream with slimy hands. It is also a small cap so doesn’t use up a lot of space in your bag.

When I went on the website to find you a link, the honeymania one is in the picture at the top of the page, but I couldn’t find the item to purchase from the website. It doesn’t exist on the website, which is a bit odd, has the scent been discontinued?

I surprisingly really like this hand cream, it doesn’t stay greasy for long, and I mean you can feel it on your skin, but it doesn’t make it hard to write due to the pen slipping through your fingers which I love. Out of ten, I give this cream 7 out of 10. The reason being is that the smell isn’t necessarily my favourite, and the results are slow. Your skin only feels the difference if you keep up a routine of putting it on, you need to keep applying otherwise you do not feel any improvements.

I don’t dislike it, I am probably going to repurchase this when I run out of hand cream, but only when there is no hand cream left in my collection or at least I am using my last one. It could be a while though. I will probably get a different scent though because I am not a huge fan of the honey scent. Next time I buy hand cream I might buy one of each scent and see which one I like the best, I can almost guarantee that it will be Vanilla or Strawberry.
