638 Mini Lush Haul – Reusable Bubble Bars

Have you been to Lush lately? It is all exciting because they have so much going on, Halloween products (the end of the lines as it has passed now), Christmas products, new products, old products and everything else. I was running low on my Lush basket,354r so I thought I would do a little online order. I was making looking at the Halloween items because I wanted to grab some bits. While I was ordering my Halloween items, I found these reusable bubble bars. I might have picked up all three of them. Oops, I was going to get the Lemon and the mint, so it felt wrong not trying the third one as well.

I have never wanted to spend much on bubbles, I mean you get a bubble bath for £1 in the supermarket, so it seems ludicrous to spend £5 and more on them just because it has got Lush on the label. However, they have such hype about them I thought it was about time I should try them. If they were more than £7, I think I would give them a miss but £5.95 each seemed reasonable for Lush reusable bubble bars, please correct me if I am wrong. Shall we get on with the Haul?

If you know anything about Lush, you will know what I am talking about before I even tell you the three items I bought, but here goes anyway.

  • Lemon Bubble Brush – Reusable Bubble Bar

  • Candy Bubble Brush – Reusable Bubble Bar

  • Mint Bubble Brush – Reusable Bubble Bar

The main reason I bought these over the other reusable bubble bars was that they were on the cheaper side of the reusable bubble bars at £5.95 each. I didn’t know which one I will like the most, I like lemon and mint but as I was buying those two, I thought I might as well get the third one right. They are very interesting; they are in the shape of a brush which would explain their name of them. I think this is a very innovative creation. Right, shall we find out a little bit more about them? Here goes…

Lemon Bubble Brush – Reusable Bubble Bar

This one is lemon-scented, would you have guessed that? What I wouldn’t have guessed is that it contains Lime and Sweet Wild Orange oil. I am rubbish at naming scents, but I was surprised when I read the list of ingredients. I had a little look on the Lush website about the oils in this one, Lime oil is an astringent. It seems a strange thing to do but I think this one will put you in a good mood. The scent is uplifting and awakening. Great for a winter evening when you need to get a lot done.

Candy Bubble Brush – Reusable Bubble Bar

I have a feeling that I will like this one the least, I like sweet smells, but I am not sure it is suited to a bath. These seem to have minimal ingredients which I like. I purely purchased this one because I was getting the mint and the lemon, and I thought I may as well get the set and try them out together. I wonder what they look like in the bath together. I do like the idea of these, I think they will be great for a Christmas gift. Who thinks of buying themselves a bath paintbrush (other than Lush lovers)? Things like this are perfect for gifts, it is not necessarily something everyone would buy for themselves which makes it special.

Mint Bubble Brush – Reusable Bubble Bar

I love everything minty, so this was the first one in my basket. It also helped that it was blue and my favourite colour. My only worry is that when you put mint in a bath you tend to feel a bit cold, so I am wondering how this is going to work. I hope it doesn’t make the bath go cold quicker as that could be the worst thing ever. Again, there are limited ingredients in this one which is another trait I love. I read that this works best Intergalactic which happens to be my favourite bath bomb.
