1146 Lush Magic Crystals Shower Scrub

I am sorry, there are not any images to go with this post, somehow, they got corrupted, and I have used the product up so I can’t take new ones.

Hmmm, where should I start? I have many things I want to talk about when it comes to this product. I guess I should start at the beginning, so here goes, I didn’t intend to get this product. I went into the shop to get the bright blue scrub called RUB RUB RUB Shower Scrub; it is a sky-blue colour. I have wanted to try it for ages but have never gone around purchasing it. If you have read My Lush Experience, then you will know what happened and how I ended up buying this one.

If you want to know about my Lush experience, please follow this link.

The short version is, that a woman demonstrated the product which persuaded me to purchase this product. The women explained about it being a shower gel as well as a scrub which is a bonus. Who doesn’t like a two-in-one product? It lathers so quickly with just a little bit of water. After the demonstration my arm smelt so nice for ages, I was walking around smelling my arm.

There are two sizes of this product, you can buy the 300g pot for £10.95 which is the one I got. The first time I buy a product I go for the smallest one in case I don’t like it or I get a reaction. You can buy a bigger product at 625g for £19.95. Another reason I got the smaller pot is that I had to carry it around London. A little hint for you is that it is called a shower scrub for a reason. I do not recommend using anything minty in the bath, which includes this one. If you must use it in the bath, use it just before you plan to finish your bath. The peppermint smells amazing, but you feel a bit of a chill after about a minute.

As far as scrubs go, I would say this is a respectable scrub, my skin felt smooth, clean, and refreshed after the first use. The scent lingered for a while, it felt like it was worth the money you spend. Some of the scrubs you can find are brutal and quite sharp, but this was just right for me. I have very girly skin; my skin gets damaged very easily, so I am wary about scrubs.

There are many things I like about Lush; I love the fact they don’t test on animals. It is a very impressive and commendable act for a company to take such as strong, I honestly take my hats off to them. The second thing is how fresh their ingredients are, so fresh that they have a best before date, you even get to know the person who prepared your product. Why else would they put a date on it? The third thing is that all the packaging is recyclable or reusable. They encourage you to bring the pots back to them or reuse them for yourself at home. I can tell they make their products with their customers in mind, not the way they make the most money.

All their employees are so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Lush takes such pride in your staff, and you look after them well. The people who work for you want to work for you. This would say to me that you create an enjoyable and positive working environment for them.

Overall, I enjoy this product, I can’t find anything wrong with it if I am honest. I hope it doesn’t get discontinued. I feel like they should put a notice out when they are thinking about discontinuing items. I will be repurchasing this, I might even splurge on the bigger pot. I am stuck on if I would like to get this one again or try some of the others first. If you try this, please let me know what you think.
