219 Lush Haul September 2017

Finally, I can do a Lush haul I have wanted to do one since I started this website back in 2013. Before now I have only ever bought one or two items if I did go into lush and it was the simple cheaper bits that weren’t very exciting. There isn’t a Lush local to me, it is about a 20-minute drive and parking has been known to be a problem as it is a busy place to shop.

I can say I did splurge in Lush this time, I don’t usually as it gets expensive, but I had a gift card, so I went all out and picked one of everything that I liked to look at. Mostly bath bombs, I always feel awkward looking at the pots that because the employee always takes the opportunity to ask you if you need help and I would rather just be left alone. It puts me off looking. They don’t do anything wrong though, it is their job and I know what kind of pressure they have as I too worked in retail. If you don’t ask every customer that walks in the door the management used to keep telling you to do it more and more. It is just annoying for the customers that just simply want to investigate a product without being interrupted.

So the first thing I picked up was:

Metamorphosis Which Is A Bath Bomb

I was just shocked at the sight of this bath bomb. I mean it is one of my favourite colours and it looks so interesting. I have never seen a bath bomb with the type of shape on the top before. I am interested to see what the inside of this bath bomb looks like. I would describe it as having a checker or a wave effect on the top with a cake-like middle. I think that is glitter on the top there as well which I am a bit worried about because the last time I had a glittery bath bomb I was covered for days. This is a bath bomb that will cost £4.25, on the more expensive side but I think it is going to be worth it.

Intergalactic Bath Bomb

Can I just say I LOVE the colours in this? It looks super spacey which is possibly why it is called intergalactic. I didn’t even this twice about this one, it looked like a run one to try and who doesn’t want to have a go with a space-themed bath? This would probably be a great present for a young family member or an adult, I mean I liked it but it is very colourful compared to some of the other plain ones. It does look like it has a bit of glitter in there but it looks very fine so I am hoping that it won’t be a problem. This also costs £4.25; I think it goes by the weight of the bath bomb, but I am not sure.

The Experimenter Bath Bomb

I think I have tried this, but I am not sure. It also has bright colours so stood out compared to the one colour ones or the plain white ones. I am interested to find out which colour this will turn the bath water, there are many colours in there which suggest a brownish finish, but I am hoping I am wrong. It is quite a bit bath bomb actually so I am excited to find out how long it fizzes in the bath. This one cost £4.25 per bath bomb as well.

Blue Skies And Fluffy White Clouds Bubble Bar

Probably a bit obvious that I would choose this. It is my favourite colour, I wanted to try a bubble bar so may as well start with the one that I previously know about, I have never tried it or as far as I know anyway but I am going to give it a go. As bubble bars go, this is a particularly big one so worth a go, I can experiment using different amounts so great first one to try. This one cost £4.95 each which is not bad for the size of the product.

Butterball Bath Bomb

I do believe that this one comes out each season in various shapes but tends to be one of the smaller options so good for children who have shallow baths. It could be a bit boring for them but should feel good on their skin. You can use this one with another bath bomb as well to add a moisturising agent to the water. This is only £2.75 a great starting point for those of you working part-time while studying.

Twilight Bath Bomb

It is a pink colour so automatically I thought I was going to be having a pink bath which is not a huge desire of mine. This is the perfect evening relaxation bath bomb so I will be putting one in my basket every single time I go to a lush store and hope they never discontinue this item. It fizzes for a good 5 minutes maybe more, I didn’t think it would ever finish. It also is very satisfying to watch as it fizzes away and spins and is just great to watch. This bath bomb is £3.95.

Dragon’s Egg Bath Bomb

This is one of the bath bombs with a boring appearance. I mean it is mostly white, but you should never judge a book by its cover. You will never know what colour is in the middle of a lush bath bomb, it could just have a deceiving white outer shell. You can see a little bit of colour trying to break through but there is no telling how much it is until you drop it in a warm bubble bath. This bath bomb is £3.95 per bomb, which is not bad for its size of it.

Milky Bath Bubble Bar

I wouldn’t have purchased it if I am honest, but the sales assistant got me in her trap and I bought a product I didn’t initially want but hay ho, give it a go. I may end up loving it at the end of the day. No guarantee unless you have tried it so I will give it a go, if I do not like it then I will simply use it up and then not repurchase it. It is white so I am guessing that it will not have much of an effect on the colour of my bath water, it might go a bit cloudy or something. I did want to try a couple of bubble bars which I think is why I gave in and just got it. If I am trying a new product I like to have a range of the same because you might find you like some of them but not all of them. It isn’t the most appealing one out of the bunch but it is somewhere to start. Bubble bars are typically more expensive but this one is a nice £3.75

Tisty Tosty Bath Bomb

Most of the lush products I haven’t used before, so I was a bit uncontrollable. I wanted to try one of everything so I looked at what was there and picked up which ones I wanted to try. This is quite plain but has some sort of flower in it which I don’t love in my bath but I will give it a go and see what happens. If I finish and I smell amazing and have soft skin I will settle for petals in my bath. It is also in the shape of a heart making it a great present for female family members, well or male. Who knows, boys get in a give it a go. This is one of the cheaper bath bombs at £3.50 but it will be leaving the shelves soon if you want to try it, get yourself into the local lush store and get buying.
