226 Lush Haul October 2017

So, I kind of went to Lush again, I was in the area and thought I may as well get a few more bits because I don’t come here very often, and it is the best opportunity instead of travelling specifically to get more when I run out of the first bath. It is cost-effective this way; I am not using more petrol to get them. It did work out a lot of lush products but it means I am set for a good few weeks.

I didn’t buy as many this time because I didn’t want to buy doubles until I knew what I liked and what I didn’t and wanted to try different bits. They are also quite heavy and I knew I would be carrying them around for a while so I stuck to limiting how many bits I got.

So here are the bits I bought in round two:

Frozen Bath Bomb

The first item I picked up was because it is blue and that is my favourite colour. I think it was inspired by the movie though which makes it a perfect present for anyone who enjoys the movie. I do believe this is a bath bomb with glitter. As I said in the first post, glitter is not always fun because it goes everywhere. You find yourself cleaning the bath and jumping into the shower to wash off as much glitter as possible. We shall see how it works out; hopefully, it is the fine glitter, so it doesn’t stick to you or the bath.

Over And Over Bath Bomb

The name suggests that it rolls through your bath water. Potentially a satisfying thing to watch. I am a bit curious as to what the orange bit does because it is waxy to touch. Reminds me of dipping a strawberry into chocolate or something. I am not mad about the bright colours in this one, doesn’t seem very relaxing but give it a go before you decide you don’t like it. It is also a bigger bath bomb so it is bound to fill the room with an amazing smell. It costs £4.25 per bath bomb. I think the price depends on the weight of the item; I could be wrong but that is my guess.

Sakura Bath Bomb

I liked this one because it was a bit smaller and one of the cheaper ones. It doesn’t look very appealing, but it would be good if I don’t have a lot of time and don’t want to use my favourite bath bomb. It has a lot of pink colours in this one with a bit of blue so I am guessing the bath water will be a kind of purple colour. It looks a bit like a volcano exploding pink. Interestingly the image on the website shows more green inside than pink or blue that mine has. Ah, well I am sure it will work the same. As I said this is a smaller bath bomb, so it is just £3.50.

Lava Lamp Bath Bomb

This was a bit scary at first, to be honest. I saw orange and purple and thought oh that is a bit bright and colourful for me, but the name had me sold. I mean who didn’t love a good lava lamp? I always wanted one when I was younger. I probably should have read the label to see what they all smell of but if you stand around too much in that shop you tend to attract the attention of the employees and they offer their assistance. I prefer to be left alone so I just look when I get home. I didn’t notice until I got home but one of my purple circles must have fallen out. It now looks like a weird frog creature.

Fizzbanger Bath Bomb

Lastly, can I just say that I love the name of this one? I mean Fizzbanger, I am sure that is a word from the BFG. It appears to be very lemony and bright which is not my favourite but it seems it would be a good one for a morning bath. It was on my list of things I wanted from Lush so when I saw it, it had to go straight in my basket. Sadly, this is going to be leaving the shop soon as well so hopefully, I don’t like it too much. I am sure it will be back, Lush typically does a basic range each season with a few special editions.
