175 It’s Never Ending

Is it just me or does everyone have a large backup of products that I have bought or been given? My collections seem to be building more and more as time goes on but never going down. At first, I was always drawn to sales but this year I have begun to try to save money. As a way of saving money, I am choosing to ignore sales unless I am particularly looking for something.
There is an outlet centre not far from where I live in England, in the outlet centre there is a Body Shop. They often have very good deals on their products. The last time I was there the deal was. If you buy 2 things you get 20% off, 3 things 30% off 4 or more 40% off. So as expected I picked up 4 things that should have been around £50-£60 but I paid £25 I think. After I bought those bits and came home, I realised that I had just spent £25 on products that I didn’t need to spend the money on. I bought some hand and face cream when I open the box where I keep everything I just add them to the queue of 3 or 4 to be used.
Overall, I have made a strict rule that I need to finish products or be using the last one before I use it. It just gets ridiculous and you end up storing 50 products and you won’t be using most of them until next year. With saying that I have also noticed that I will use a product for maybe a week or two but then I get bored and forget they are there. Once forgotten they sit where I’ve left them waiting to be used. I’ve ended up having to throw products that I have never used away because I have had them for so long. I found a tube of hand cream the other day that I got over 2 years ago as a birthday present.
Let me know if you are with me, trying to use the old before you get the new. Stop wasting products and money. Maybe if you have 1 hand cream left and you’ve started using it, next time you are near a shop grab one. If you try this let me know how you are going to organise it and come back and let me know how you get on.
