213 How Many Times Should I Tell Myself??

Right, I have decided that now I am attempting to get into a routine I am also going to try and get into a routine with my skincare.

I have successfully got myself into the routine of applying moisturiser every day but sadly the rest is failing. I was in a half routine where if I could be bothered, I would apply it but then I have a problem with my eyes so was reluctant to put anything on but now it is fully healed, and it has been for a while, so I think the time is now to get back into improving the quality of my skin.

If you know me you will know that I have now left my studies and will be working full time from now on, which a lot of people are scared about but I just jumped straight in. Working full-time means I have a little bit more money to play with. This does of course mean I have bills to pay etc and certain things you must use your hard-earned money for, but it also means that I can look at products I would like not the cheapest I can find which is exciting for me.

First, I am going to be using up the bits I have already, and as I use something up completely, I will look at the product I would like to try instead of just going to Boots or Superdrug or John Lewis or any shop that sells beauty products and pick a range and buy the lot, not only will that be expensive it will not show the true lights of each product. The key to noticing a difference in a product is to introduce one at a time; you will not be able to tell if it makes a difference if you do 2 or more. It might be that one makes a big difference and the other doesn’t but if you use them both you won’t be able to tell which one is doing what.

If you know of any nice products or use one that you like, please do share. I do currently use L’Oreal which I don’t love but I don’t hate, I mean they are great products, but I don’t think they are a good fit for me. I travel a lot, so the packaging is quite big and heavy for my liking. Until I find a product that I like L’Oreal will probably be my default.
