1948 February 2022 Empties... The First One Of The Year

How is everyone doing? I hope everyone is doing well. I know many people decided to try and use up a lot of their products over the pandemic, it’s a great way to create space, use up your stock and save money as you are not buying more of what you have already got. You may already know, that about 18 months ago, I started getting into Oriflame.

They are such a good brand; I have been trying to promote and sell their products. Me being me, I would feel like a fraud and dishonest if I were selling products and I had never tried them. I can honestly say at least 90% of the products I hype up I have tried or have bought myself and I am working on getting around to trying them. I am a sucker for a good deal, so I tend to have a backlog of products to use or try.

Now I have justified myself (unnecessarily), it will explain why I have so many empty Oriflame products, but for now. I am going to keep it short and sweet for everyone. In general, I try my best to use a whole product before I start a new one, it seems such a waste to open ten products in one go. Anyway, that was the long story just to try and justify why it is that I have so many products.

Now you are bored half to death, here are the products I am going to tell you about today.

  1. Oriflame Aphrodite Body and Pillow Mist 100ml

  2. Oriflame Love Nature Hot Oil Wheat and Coconut Oil X 15

  3. Oriflame Optifresh System 8 Crystal White Toothpaste

Oriflame Aphrodite Body and Pillow Mist 100ml

I fell in love with this product straight away, why, you might ask. It’s because it is the only pillow mist, I found that is not lavender-scented. Honestly, I despise lavender. Where do I start, the packaging is just stunning, the spray function is satisfying, the mist is refreshing, and the scent is relaxing, need I go on? I can now confirm that I have already done a review, and I did go ahead and buy five of them in one go. Don’t get me wrong, I am aware it could have a placebo effect, but… I do not care one little bit. It seems to have a positive impact on my sleep, so I don’t mind what it does. I think it is a lot to do with the relaxing scent. The scent is very spa-like which is somewhere people go to relax so it does make sense why it would make you feel relaxed. I am not sure if any of the ingredients are designed to make you feel sleepy either. I highly recommend this one, although they have discontinued it (which is a real shame, and I cannot wait for it to return). I will repurchase it when it becomes available again because I am hoping that they bring it back out. I love the lavender flower and I love bees (clever creatures really), but I don’t want to smell it.

Oriflame Love Nature Hot Oil Wheat and Coconut Oil X 15

You might have guessed how much I like this product with the number of them that I have used! A total of 15. Although, it isn’t as extreme as you think. Those of you who know me will know my hair is pretty long. So, I use at least 4 of these at once. The main downfall, it takes a little planning. You have to remember to put them in hot water for a good 10 minutes before you can use them (if you want the hot effect to work). Then you have to put it in your hair and leave it for 10 minutes. I am not 100% if you are meant to put this in before or after you have washed your hair, do any of you lovely guys and gals know? I also notice that there are no instructions on how to use it or what to do. So, unless you have read the catalogue, you are a little stuck and left guessing. If you are someone who does want to try these out, you have to heat the oil by leaving them in hot water for 10-15 minutes. Wet your hair. Apply the hot oil, avoiding your roots. Leave on your hair for 10-15 minutes and then wash your hair (I think). I will say I do notice a difference in my hair, but it isn’t practical for me to use them regularly. I would recommend trying these. If you catch them on offer, they are usually only 99p each.

Oriflame Optifresh System 8 Crystal White Toothpaste

Bit of a boring one to be honest, but… it is an empty product. I am not too picky when it comes to toothpaste. It either cleans or it doesn’t. So, I saw an offer, grabbed the offer, and used the toothpaste. I wouldn’t go as far as telling you that I love it, but… defo not a bad toothpaste. My teeth felt clean, there is a decent amount of product in the tube. It is a little pricey when it is full price, but a good offer price, I would guess, from experience that says every 2-3 months it is on some sort of offer. I always grab 1 or 2 when it is because I like to have backups ready to go.
