Bewitched – Wrap
First, I love the slogan that goes with this product, “A bunch of hocus pocus”. If you have not seen the movie you need to stop what you are doing right now and go and get it. Hocus Pocus is possibly my favourite Halloween movie. This package includes three items which are what I love, you don’t have to get the three products and try to wrap them yourself, they do all the work for you. Included in this wrap is Lord of Misrule shower cream, Secret Arts jelly bomb and the Bewitched bubble bar. This trio is £19.95 for all three products, but I worked out you can buy them individually and get more of the shower cream for a lower price. See below for the individual links!
Lord Of Misrule Shower Cream
This product I just love this colour. How many shower gels come this green? The smallest one of this product is £9.95 for 250g. The scent of this I expect to be quite spicy and interesting. I have heard good things about lush shower products, and I haven’t had the chance to give them a go yet, so I want to get my hands on one. This shower cream includes vanilla in its ingredients and vanilla is my favourite scent. This product is generally part of their Halloween collections, so it has had good reviews already. The rating currently sits at 4.7 out of five so I have high hopes for this product.
Bewitched - Bubble Bar
I don’t know about you but having kitty bath products is just fun and cute. I am a huge fan of cats and most animals when I think about it but I do own a cat and it is my world. What kitty would be better than one that can give your amazing relaxing bubbles? I love a good bubble bath in the evenings, particularly as winter has officially arrived in the UK. I believe this is a new product this year as there are no reviews on the website. I love to use new products because there is no expectation, and you have 100% your own opinion. For a bubble bar, this product is quite low on the price scale at £4.25.
Secret Arts – Jelly Bomb
Don’t you think that a jelly bomb sounds more interesting than a bath bomb? I can’t imagine a soft jelly-like bath bomb, it just seems odd don’t you think? You have to join the dark side when Halloween is just around the corner. This product has cinnamon which suggests Christmas more than Halloween, but I can see black being more of a Halloween thing than Christmas. This product has recently joined the lush products as a general product but slipped in with the Halloween bits, but it does mean there are reviews. It hasn’t got a very good score actually which is a little disappointing but it makes me want to try it as part of a set even more because why pay full price when you can get it as part of a set? On its own, this product is £4.95.
Ectoplasm – Jelly Bomb
I think I prefer the colour of the secret arts jelly bomb but if you like brightly coloured products that this is the one for you. This product is great if you want to attract ghostbusters, I mean who else could get a ghost out of your bathroom? This has seaweed gel inside which is always fun. This one also has some fruity bits which make it uplifting and refreshing. This would be good for a Sunday morning to wake up ready for the day of getting yourself together to go to work for the week. Sadly, as good as this one sounds the reviews have let it down a bit as it is only on 2.7 out of 5, so just over 50%. I still want to give it a go, according to the reviews if you are going to give this one a go, make sure your bath water is quite hot for it to dissolve well. This one cost £4.95, which is around the same price as most of the other bath bombs.
Lord Of Misrule – Bath Bomb
It has the perfect colour for a Halloween bath bomb with a red centre and a green casing. Reading the description makes me think that this would be relaxing for an even soak after a long week at work. I am not sure about the popping candy but hopefully, that doesn’t ruin the overall experience. To top this product off it contains vanilla, I swear if it has vanilla in it I am pretty much guaranteed to like the product. Lord of Misrule is a returned product, and everyone seems to be excited about its appearance. For anyone worried, it does not leave any green stains on your bath which is always in the back of my mind. I hate it when you have to rinse the bath out when you get out.
Magic Wand – Soap Bar
I have always been a little put off buying the soap from lush because it looks great and smells great, but I can’t imagine spending almost £5 on a bar of soap when you can get one the same size for £1. I do want to try it but as a student, I wanted to be careful with my money. Recently I have left the student world so I can try products such as this more often which I enjoy. There are no reviews which also means there is no rating on it. I like that this product is citrusy so this could be the first ever soap I try from lush. For 120g it costs £4.50 so I have high hopes for it.
Pumpkin – Bath Bomb
Now, you must have a pumpkin if you are going to buy Halloween bath products. What would Halloween be without a good old pumpkin? Right, I am sold, this product has vanilla. You cannot pass up a vanilla pumpkin or at least I can’t. This would be a great product for a young trick-or-treater who is unable to eat loads of chocolate and sweets. If I were unable to enjoy a bowl of sweets, I would enjoy this instead. According to the reviews, it also has a bit of an orange scent, who doesn’t enjoy a good old orange scent? This bath bomb is currently sitting at 3.6 which isn’t great, but I can’t see any problems with this. The pumpkin bath bomb costs £4.25 which is typical for a lush bath bomb.
