151 #WorldMentalHealth

Mental health is just as important as physical health. There is no shame in feeling down, sad or upset. Doesn’t matter if you are young, old, male or female, feelings are normal! If you are having an extreme feelings and they are impacting your life in one way, or another please seek medical advice from a medical professional. Asking for help is a sign of courage and strength, not weakness.

It is scary and a whole lot easier said than done but take the leap of faith and ask for help, all they will do is help you find the way out. Don’t stay trapped in your unique situation. You may have ups, you may have downs and of course, there will be a hurdle or two but if you ask for help, you are going to have support to get you to the ups, through the downs and over the hurdles!

Believe in yourself, as hard as it is, you need to think positively!

Due to this subject not being the brightest of the bunch, I wanted to try and put a smile on someone’s face or be the reason you relax today so here goes…

Right then, so you’ve had a long week at work, or college, or at school, maybe even at home. It could be anywhere. The cure I find that always helps does not always completely clear it up but definitely helps every time.

Step One – Strip your bed sheets Step Two – Put clean bed sheets on your bad Step Three – throw any clothes in the wash, even if they could be worn one more time…put them in the wash Step Four – Grab a new set of PJs, new socks, and your slippers Step Five – Run a bath, add a bath bomb if you can Step Six – Grab a little sweet snack, a drink, and some candles, maybe even a bit of music and have yourself a nice relaxing hot bubble bath. Step Seven – Relax and do nothing else!
