My Answer: When I tore my Achilles, and I was in A&E. A doctor was trying to teach a student doc and he was just an arse. He kept flexing my foot even though I was saying it was hurting each time. Then I was put into a boot and had to have an x-ray, I was exhausted and in pain, struggling with the boot and a nurse came over to help.
A Friend’s Answer: My mentor putting me through for the Fox TV interview. I hadn’t even got a coaching program put together at that point. Her belief in me made a masive impact on my confidence. (Anne-Marie)
March 2024 - What small gesture from a stranger made a big impact on you?
My Answer: Ooo when I broke my ankle. It was during covid lockdowns, so I had to go into A&E by myself. And I was really struggling to get to the door. Everything hurt because I had been hopping around the house and using my arms to pull myself up. A lovely man noticed this and went and got me a wheelchair. I’d never met him before, but he did me a solid and I will be forever grateful.
A Friend’s Answer: Anyone who takes the time to do something small for me is always appreciated and makes an impact. A little kindness goes a long way. (Sharon)
