2899 What’s the smartest thing you’ve seen an animal do?

My Answer: I watched a video online where a large monkey, I think it was a Gorilla was playing with a toddler/young child through the glass of his enclosure. The child would knock on the glass. Then the Gorilla would sit with his back to the glass, look over his shoulder and then tap the glass back.

A Friend’s Answer: I’m not sure. But I did once hear a story about an octopus escaping a locked cage. (Lydia)

July 2023 - What’s the smartest thing you’ve seen an animal do?

My Answer: Ya know, when you are playing with a pet and they bring the claws out? Your response is to stand up and move away. My cat would just go for your feet instead.

A Friend’s Answer: A bird building a nest. Absolutely amazing. A tiny bird makes hundreds of trips for sticks, leaves, and mud to make a perfect little home for her family. (Sharon)
