1759 What product or service is way more expensive than it needs to be?

My Answer: Glasses and getting your car fixed. They are both unnecessarily expensive. You can hear for free, but you have to pay to be able to see. I think this is unfair as you have no choice over if you can see it or not. Getting your car fixed, I get you to have to pay the price of parts however fitting £50 parts usually racks up to £400 when you take it to a garage. It is a rip-off.

August 2020 - What product or service is way more expensive than it needs to be?

My Answer: Glasses, you can get free hearing aids but if you can’t see you have to pay loads of money to see properly. I think the test is reasonable but for a decent pair of glasses, you are looking at £200 or more. You can just go for the cheapest pair which bottoms out at around £50 but then how long will they last, and the shape may not suit you etc.
