1726 What did you like/dislike about where you grew up?

My Answer: I like that I stayed in one place, but I dislike that the council and town officials never really looked after it.

July 2020 - What did you like/dislike about where you grew up?

My Answer: There wasn’t a lot you could do, there was a shopping centre, a cinema, a pool, or the streets. It is okay if you had some money but there wasn’t many places or activities to do with your friends. Especially if not, everyone had money.

A Friend’s Answer: I moved between three places growing up. Hatfield, Barnet, and Potters Bar. I think my favourite was Barnet because all of my friends live there. (Faye)
