Right so after this week, I decided I need to sort myself out and stop making excuses. I don’t know about you, but I will do a big tidy and over a month, (I do tidy in between but not absolutely everything). Anyway, what I try to do is spend a good amount of time putting everything back where it is meant to be, putting clothes away, taking any rubbish out to the bins, put the letters I got away properly instead of just sitting in a pile next to my laptop. Put away any stationary that I have got out that I don’t use daily, put any clothes that I have worn in the washing, hoover, change bed sheets, throw anything that I have been sitting on the side waiting to be thrown away put my jewellery back in their boxes, check the cupboards in the kitchen for expired food etc.
In between the big clear-outs, I put things away, pile clothes up that I have only used once, put the jewellery that I got out on my side to be used again, leave chargers and shoes by my wardrobe instead of in the wardrobe, put any washing that has been on the floor because I missed when I threw it in the washing basket. Put my nail varnish back in its basket.
I have a bad habit of deciding to go to bed quite late but then start tidying up and go to bed even later because I like things to be away or in their normal place when I wake up. I want to try if I can, to do the big clean either more often or tidy better in between to avoid having to do the big clean so often.
Now October is growing closer by the second, so my goal is to start on the 1st of October 2017. Over the next two days, I am going to work on getting myself organised and back on track to be able to do things a lot more smoothly.
Join me in the task of organising my life, I am hoping that being on a mission and finding the motivation somehow means I will be on track and in a good routine by Christmas because it is not working. I am playing catch-up way too much for my liking! I seem to play catch up but do not have enough time to get to a good point for when I have a busy week. This week turned out to be busier than expected with 30–50-minute drives after work every day this week so far.
