If you can save another’s life and don’t because doing so would break the law, are you ethically justified in your decision?

My Answer: No, I would just save the life if I could. I would know I did the right thing, and I wouldn’t care.

A Friend’s Answer: That’s hard. I would be torn. It would depend on how the law was being broken. Little things like taking meds or supplies are one thing. But harming someone else is not. Property damage would be justifiable in my mind. (Sharon)
