466 Halfway…

We have done it; we made it through 50% of the year. Tomorrow is officially the first day of the second half. I am feeling positive so far this year, there have been ups and downs but overall, mostly good, I think.

Finally getting some lovely weather is great, the thing with England is. It goes from raining and cold to sweltering, and the weather doesn’t give us a chance to build up to the heat. It is one extreme to the other. Now I am going to sound like a scratched record but please stay safe, keep a drink nearby and get your sun lotion out. You’ll only regret it later in life if you don’t.

I am bad for drinking water, I just don’t find myself drawn to it, I would rather drink quash or a good cup of tea, but I do find myself enjoying the water in this heat.

My challenge for you is to get your bum off your sofa, dust off those sandals and go outside. Find a nice field or a park bench to sit on. Take your iPod, your iPad, your phone, or a book, and take anything you want with you but do not sit inside hiding from the amazing hot weather because I know as soon as it is gone you are going to moan that England never gets nice weather. I don’t accept this unless you were out trying to enjoy it.

Even I spent time outside, after slathering sun cream on. So, let me know what you get up to.
