I don’t know about you, but I love storms, well I love watching them from the window. I don’t particularly enjoy being out in them. It’s just the sound of the rain pouring down, hitting the window then suddenly you get a clap of thunder and the brightest flash you’ve ever seen.
There is something about the craziness of a storm that makes it beautiful and relaxing. It is a good chance to take a step back and think about what is going on in your life. Next time you find yourself stuck in a storm take a moment to think about something that has been bothering you lately. Just stop and listen to the soothing sound of the rain hitting the window and trickling down the gutter.
Rain is important, not many people think of rain as good weather, but how else do your plants grow? How do you think you can buy bread because the rain helps the ingredients to grow?
Do you remember sitting in the back of the car with your sibling having a competition to see which raindrop will reach the bottom of the window first? I used to love that game!
Rain also replaces any water than has been evaporated; this is good news for all living organisms as we all need it.
