437 A Bit of a Phone Situation

I am going to take today’s post on a slightly different level. A bit more serious but not on a low note, which is always good. Does anyone else find it annoying when someone tries to talk to you when you are on the phone?

I honestly don’t know how people have two conversations at the same time, I can’t do it. I have tried and it just doesn’t work. I end up accidentally ignoring the person on the phone because I am trying to work out what the person trying to talk to me is saying.

I find it easier if you would like to tell me something while I am on the phone write it down and give it to me as I can read it and not interrupt the person on the phone which is rude. That is something I don’t like about today’s society, with everything being available with a click of a button people have forgotten what patience is. Being on the phone doesn’t matter to them, they want to tell you there and then, there is no way they could wait for 5 minutes for you to finish your conversation.

So next time you see someone on the phone, and you want to tell them something, leave them alone and let them deal with the person on the phone. You will still be there when the phone call ends. The person on the phone might not be there after you have spoken to them.
