Well, Halloween was just around the corner. How did it come and go so quickly? I didn’t even get to watch Hocus Pocus this year. The level of costumes has hit an all-time high. Halloween in the UK is very different compared to America. I’ve noticed that the UK stays classic with the witches, ghosts, vampires, skeletons etc. The type of things you would find in a kid’s scary movie.
But in America, they literally dress up as anything. It’s not necessarily a haunted spooky costume, it is just a character of some kind.
I didn’t do anything remotely Halloween-based this year. Not even pumpkin calving. I was also working until 6:30 on Halloween so I missed most of the local events. That’s okay though, there is always next year. But… let’s be honest. It does not need to be Halloween for me to break out a bit of Hocus Pocus. Winnie, Sarah, and Mary are welcome on my TV any day.
I do hope everyone got to celebrate Halloween in one way or another this year. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but it can be fun getting all dressed up and having a laugh. Even if I am a bit late talking about it this year.
