141 Summertime Ventures

We are officially just under halfway through August 2016. This year is going so quickly that it is scary! I mean I haven’t even had time to attempt a tan. We also haven’t got much time in life before we go back to School or College or UNI, well there is a little more time before people go back to UNI in October, but it will fly past. For me, it is back to my final year of college, kind of scary, kind of surreal. As my last proper summer break between years or courses, I wanted to make it count, make it something I am not going to forget but I also wanted it to be very chilled and relaxed. I wanted to enjoy it.

I thought I would share with you the things that I want to get up to in the next two weeks before I start back at college. One thing that I wanted to do but have actually already completed was The Summer Youth Project at the Grove in Dunstable in England. It was two weeks where you help to make the set and run the show. You can be in it as well but you can’t be in the show and run the show. You have to choose one or the other. It is a great program and a professional production.

On to more of the things I would like to do, there are a fair few, but I am not going to do all of them this summer, It is just some ideas that you could try out.

  • Have a BBQ

  • Go Swimming

  • Do a little shopping

  • Look for a nice folder to use for the year

  • Have a PJ day

  • Blast my music really loud

  • Have a water fight

  • Spend some time by a lake

  • Go on a little drive

  • Go to a Safari park

  • And many more

There is no way I am going to get to do all of this, but they are some of the things I want to do before I go back to college, mainly because the goal is to have fun. If you read my last post, you will know that I now live by a very good quote “Not every day is a good day, but there is good in every day” Click here to read my last post and you will understand more.
