I went to get the whipped version but from what I found the whipped version is not available in the UK which is really annoying I found this one so I thought I would give it a go. After looking I noticed there were two different lids, each one indicating what version of the found it was. This is a foundation that is specifically formulated to work with combination/oily skin. The one that had a clear but on top of the black lid is normal/dry I believe.
I did love this product but lately, it hasn’t been sitting right on my skin o I smell a switch-up soon. I am now on my second pot of it so maybe it is just that I got a bad batch, not 100% sure, but when this one is finished I am likely to be on the hunt for a new foundation.
The staying power is amazing on this foundation, it defo stays on all day, it doesn’t always look amazing at the end of the day, but it is there. You also don’t need to apply a lot, and you can build it up on any problem areas. There have been one or two times where I had got up and got ready and the plan got cancelled and didn’t need any make-up on, so I removed it and had a hard time removing all the foundations. I also sometimes will take the bulk of my makeup off and then about 30 minutes later I will do a proper skin cleanse and will find foundation is still on my face! So, if you check this one out makes sure at the end of the day you are taking it all off properly.
This foundation isn’t the best for looking after your skin as it sticks for a long time and it is a thick formula, but it does its job, with good coverage which I love! It does crease a little if you haven’t set very well with powder or you have been hot and sweaty, so make sure you have a good powder to pop on top.
Would I buy it again? Not straight away but it will be one I go back to but maybe not for every day as it is quite heavy. Would I recommend this product? Yes, give it a go and see how you get on, pay attention to the lids as there are two different formulas though.
