Easter is officially over. How is everyone, worried about all the chocolate or are you not bothered in the slightest?
I know I am not bothered by the chocolate, eat it if you want to. I would just like to have a little disclaimer, I am English, so I am going to call it Easter, I am not religious so use the holiday to see family and have a laugh. If you are offended, just don’t carry on reading. This is an English website so if I want to talk about English things I am going to. I would also like to say that I have nothing against religion just please don’t try and force me to believe in the same.
On with the happy part, I love to take any opportunity I can to enjoy time at home with the family. Turn off the technology and get an old board game out. I can’t say we have many board games anymore, but I do take the time to go and see my grandparents etc.
I got one Easter egg this year, which is just perfect for me. You don’t need more than that do you? I also can’t be the only one that has noticed that as soon as the Easter holiday has finished the sun is out. Just a tad unfair, I think. Although it means the summer is on its way, people tend to think England doesn’t get a summer. We do, just not the best one.
So, tell me what you do over Christmas, are you the person who sits at home doing nothing or do you enjoy the church services? I don’t think I have even been to an Easter church service; I couldn’t tell you what they do.
I did use to enjoy decorating a hardboiled egg; many cultures do different things with hard-boiled eggs. I know that egg dying is a thing at the minute.
Leave in the comments what you do over the Easter break.
