998 My 23rd Birthday

Well, it has been an interesting one for me this year. Sadly, I have been quite unwell, so the celebrations got postponed. Instead, I was in bed all day, well most of the day.

My birthday sort of crept up on me, I didn’t have any plans until a day or two before, there was nothing I wanted gift-wise. I got boring this year, normally I get a few people together but this year I just couldn’t be bothered. I just wanted a chill one.

I typically take the day off work but this year I didn’t however, I did get sent home as I wasn’t very well.

What did I get this year you might ask? Well, this year was also quite chill present-wise. My parents got me a few little panda-themed bits (a lip gloss and a compact mirror) and some pennies, and my friend got me some fluffy socks in a panda package and a panda mug with a little slot for biscuits (which is adorable, I will take some pictures and add them later because I am unorganised). My grandparents got me a pair of boots (an amazing deal in the sale!) and some pennies. Work got me a little something, but I am not sure what yet as I haven’t seen it. Lastly, my uncle also has me some pennies.

However, this is the first year that I decided I would buy myself something. I have wanted a desk for a long time. I have spent hours looking for one that I like and have finally found one. So, I bought myself a new desk, a lamp for the desk, a chair to go with the desk and a rug to go under the chair. All I need now is a little bin.

That is all for now, stayed tuned because I want to do an update soon. I have been experiencing technical difficulties so I haven’t been as active which will now change because I believe I have everything straightened out and back in order.
