2494 Look after yourselves

Good evening, everyone. So, I wanted to pop on today because the UK has been pretty warm the past couple of weeks which I know for some other countries you are thinking… that’s not hot. But we UK folk are not used to anything past 22/23 degrees. We are unprepared for it and not equipped to cope with it. Most homes are not air-conditioned or designed to keep heat out. Our homes are designed to contain heat because we are typically colder weather. So, the second the heat goes beyond 22 or 23 degrees, we have to get creative with staying cool.

Many people don’t have regular access to a pool to cool down, so you either have to pay for the local public pool or just deal without a pool. Some people don’t even have access to a garden hose to fill up a temporary pool.

Anyway, I wanted to take a minute to remind everyone to stay hydrated and look after yourself in the heat. Take care of your skin.
