33 Go Dilly Dally with Top Shop Nail Varnish

So I saw this while shopping for some clothes, didn’t know Topshop did beauty bits. It took me about ten seconds to decide I was going to buy it, is that bad? I love blue, I love Matt things so can’t really go wrong with a matt blue colour. Also great name! Called – Dilly Dally!!!

I am literally obsessed with blue; it is my favourite colour and matte nail varnishes are the latest thing, I would also like to point out the amazing range of colours you could get, reds, oranges, purples, blacks, greys etc. I went with one to see what they are like but I really want some more now.

They have a very cute little packaging as well. It is standard for a nail varnish, but it is mostly standard, but you can see the true colour and what it looks like matte because of the outer cover of the pot. Most of it is translucent but there is a smallish dot on the front that is transparent so you can see what colour is without opening it but you can also see what it will look like when it is dry on your nails. The lid is just a plain black cylinder.

The only complaint I can say is that you can’t really use a topcoat with this varnish unless you have a matte finish, so it doesn’t last for a long time. Having said this, I would say that polishes that you would wear for a special occasion, not on a weekly basis or for a long period of time.

What I also like about this polish is that you could make it shiny with a top coat if you wanted to change up the look during the day. For example, you put the matt on to show off at work or school, but you are going to a party after so when you get home you pop a quick-drying glossy topcoat on, and no one will know you didn’t spend an hour redoing your nails!

I love the colour, the polish is 8 out of 10 for staying power, the finish is too due for, and I would go and buy this again.
