163 Favourite Thing About Christmas?

This year Christmas has crept up on me very fast, I am unprepared and not in the Christmas spirit at all. In an attempt to get into the Christmas spirit, I want to know what your favourite thing about Christmas is. I don’t care what it is; it could be anything, the atmosphere, the cold, the hot, the trees, the lights, the decorations, the family, the food, the overall feeling, anything.

I love the family; in general, families become closer over the Christmas period. Or at least they put their differences behind them and spend a couple of weeks getting on and having a laugh. Talking of the family, I found out a couple of days ago that my Auntie who lives in Holland is coming back to England to spend Christmas here and I haven’t seen her for about 8 years. She arrived today which is cool!

I want to get into the sentimental side of Christmas; people seem to be more interested in what they want from their friends and family and it shouldn’t be about that. Overall, I love seeing family a bit more, putting a smile on someone’s face and lastly the Christmas dinner.

My ideal Christmas day is:

Waking up in the morning as a family can be any time of the morning that you want it to be!

Make yourself a cup of tea or coffee or hot chocolate, have a bit of breakfast, doesn’t matter what it is, have whatever you want.

Wear whatever you want all day, PJs, clothes, slippers, or a onesie.

Lastly, do whatever you want apart from WORK, you aren’t allowed to do any work!
