129 Dsdoodledisegno … huh??

So this week I have been thinking about what to write for you. I got a bit stuck, I mean I haven’t run out of ideas but I couldn’t think of what I wanted to write for today. I do have a couple of ideas in the works, but they require a bit of work beforehand which I haven’t quite finished yet so unable to do those. I have been looking through my beauty products to see if there is anything I want to review, which there isn’t, I like to use them for a while before I show you. Anyway, after a lot of thinking I have decided to show you a new side of my life.

Family, you may or may not know I have a sister, an older sister to be specific. We are very different in many ways, but we are both creative, she loves her sports and art so today I want to show you her artwork.

I may sound biased, but her drawing/artwork is amazing! Of course, there is room for improvement but there is always something you can improve on if it is the shape of eyes or people’s hands. The drawing looks easy, but it really isn’t, especially if you are going for realistic. My sister’s name is Demi, and she has received many compliments on her drawing. Here are a few of my favourites.

Carah Amelie

You may not know who this Woman is. She is an American makeup artist as well as a wife and an adoring mother. I personally think she is amazing, I discovered her on YouTube in early 2011 when she had just fallen pregnant with her baby girl. She is a talented makeup artist which is what drew me in at first as that was my goal. I then went on to her vlog channel and eventually found myself invested in watching her family grow. Now 5 years later her youngest has been born (obviously) and is now 5 years old I think and her youngest which I watched the entire way through is 2 or 3. I remember when her channel went quiet for a short period getting all excited because I knew she was in labour with Emery. Due to me watching her, my sister decided to draw her … he she is.

Johnny Depp

If you know me you will know I am a huge fan of Johnny Depp, mostly because of his performance in Pirates of the Caribbean films. I have watched all those movies way too much, I know the lines to it, I know when the stunts are and I am pretty much obsessed over these movies. Here is an image that my sister drew. This is one of her earlier drawings so she has improved quite a bit since and drawn a different version of Johnny but I couldn’t find that one, I would like her to redraw this to compare it and see her improvements.

Tiger

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the colour in this one, I actually remember when she did this. She couldn’t sleep so she stole my pencils and created this…. It is so realistic and the colour really pops. I believe she just used an image on google for reference and drew freehand. Their eyes are ridiculous I wish you could see them properly; the image just doesn’t show the colours justice. I also this was unfinished, so she knows how to add her details, doesn’t she?

Vanilla Ice

Demi has always been a fan of Vanilla Ice, when she was little, she used to sing his songs, especially ice ice baby. She is going to kill me for saying that but oh well. Again the colour on this is incredible. I could be wrong but I believe Vanilla Ice actually saw this drawing and got in touch with her but you’ll have to ask her about that.

Scream

Oh, I do enjoy the good old scream movies, Sydney running away from someone that she cares about every time. I can’t work out which is my favourite, I think I prefer the series on Netflix to the movies coming from a horror point of view but the movies are the originals. When I was 8 or 9 they were quite scary but now they are just funny. I have watched them too many times though, again I know the scripts and love the rules mentioned in the third movie. If you haven’t seen the movies or the series and have a bit of spare time, grab a bowl of popcorn and a pillow. I think this is the front cover of the first Scream Movie DVD case.

Birdy

I am going to name him Misty. Now, I don’t really have any words to create a back story but I am in love with the colour, it really pops off the page and stands out compared to a regular drawing, it almost looks 3D. It is amazing; this is something you would buy to hang on your wall.

Snevil White

I would love to see the horror version of Snow White and all the fairy tales actually, if you hadn’t guessed, I am a horror fan. This one is a little self-explanatory, it is Snow White’s evil twin sister, I’ve named her Snevil White. I really want to dress my sister up and create this drawing in real life with my makeup. Let me know if you want me to see that and I will organise it over the summer.

Kylie (I think)

Well, I believe this is Kylie, Demi if it isn’t please let me know so I can correct myself ha. Again, amazing drawing and well done. It has definition and realism. The eye looks glassy and the shading is powerful. If Kylie hasn’t seen it yet I hope that somehow this makes its way into her social media and she actually catches a glimpse of the drawing.

Sean Kelly

Last but in no way least, is a drawing of Sean Kelly but unfortunately again not 100% sure who this is because I can’t see the name very clearly on the signed version below, I think the signature says, Sean Kelly. If it doesn’t and you know who it is please tell me. This was drawn and posted on social media, I believe it was my sister’s Facebook and or personal Instagram. The person in the drawing saw it and got in contact with my sister.

Sean asked Demi to send the drawing to him, he then signed it, popped a letter in with it and sent it back. You will see the original above and the signed one below.

Lastly, I just want to say again that this is not my work, this all belongs to Demi including the images which have been sent to me. Please comment below if you have a look or even follow her on Instagram. Let me know what you think, I will be giving her the link so she can read your comments as well.
