First of all, since discovering this amazing balm I have not changed anything, I even have a backup for it! I have always it with me, it is either in my bag, pocket, room or next to my bed.
Now there is a little story as to how I came across this. I went to stay with my grandparents for a couple of days and I quickly found out that I had forgotten my lip balm which was a Nivea one. So, the next day my lips were cracking and just and felt horrible so I went shopping, it was recommended that maybe I get one to leave at my grandparent’s house in case I forget in the future, so I decide I would buy two.
This particular one was probably on offer, and it was vanilla and I LOVE vanilla so couldn’t resist. I opened it and wasn’t that fused, was actually a little disappointed. I then went back to using my current one. I wasn’t actually very impressed with the scent of Carmex Vanilla as I couldn’t really smell much vanilla so was a little disappointed but never mind.
Then I lost my favourite one which I was using so I thought ah, I may as well use this one and get it finished (I have about 9 in a draw somewhere of different ones I’ve been given as presents) but after a couple of days of using this Carmex one I was sold. Loved it, it is soooooo moisturizing, it is kinda thick on your lips but I didn’t mind that as I don’t notice it and it’s not sticky and you know it is helping. It kinda tingles a little so you know it is working or doing something.
I am now on my third tube of this stuff and would definitely recommend it, works wonders! I do use others but I always go back to this one, it does stay on but sometimes I wipe it off when I am eating or drinking, if I am using someone else’s glass etc so I do reapply it sometimes 6 or 7 times a day but my lips are a nightmare, I have to use lip balm every single day of the year.
Hope this helps. Let me know what you think if you use it or if you went out and gave it a go after reading this then let me know in the comments.
