868 Avon Haul 2019

Okay so this is sort of new, I have never been one to go with Avon. It just always seemed something you heard your mum doing with her friends in the evenings so I never registered it as something I would look at. I never purposely avoided it; I have just only had the chance to have a look for myself at an age where I could purchase things. It seemed a bit old-fashioned and not usually my thing, I prefer to see the physical product before I buy it. Once I have tried it already and I know it is a good shade for my skin then I am happy to order it online. I was allowed to look at the catalogue and I was in two minds; I wouldn’t mind trying one or two bits, but I didn’t want to get them and hate them because that would be a waste. I ended up giving in and picked a couple of bits, well three to be exact. The three items are

1. Avon True Colour Flawless Liquid Foundation – Porcelain

2. Avon True Colour Flawless Liquid Foundation – Light Ivory

3. Avon True Ultra Volume Lash Magnify Mascara – Blackest Black

Although I have bought three items, two of them are the same items but in different shades, as I didn’t know what shade to get.

Avon True Colour Flawless Liquid Foundation – Porcelain & Light Ivory

I picked this because I have heard Avon has a good makeup reputation, and I am in the market for a nice foundation that doesn’t break the bank but also looks pretty good on the skin. I am in my early twenties; I have done a makeup artist course for a year, and I still haven’t found a foundation that I love and want to use as an everyday product. So, at only £6 each I thought I might as well have a go. One of the things I love about this product straight away is that it has SPF15, it’s always a good idea to stick some SPF on in the morning in winter, spring, autumn, or summer. It does say that it has a natural finish and that it is buildable so I will be testing that one out.

Avon True Ultra Volume Lash Magnify Mascara – Blackest Black

I struggle with mascara; I have small eyes which makes it difficult to apply a good coat of mascara to make them look full and volumized. I have found one that is pretty good by Maybelline, but I thought I would try one last time to find another one. I picked this one because of its claims, volume, and length and the picture looked cool. The price wasn’t horrendous so I thought why not, might as well while I’ve got the opportunity to get it.
