Well, I couldn’t even begin to guess where I should start. This year has already been so eventful. This year I decided that I will be true to myself, I wasn’t going to put up with anything because it is easier to do so or because it is convenient. So, considering that, I might have done something a little drastic. I quit my job.
It just wasn’t working, if you must hide your views, or you are not feeling 99% happy (no one is happy 100% of the time) then why aren’t you doing something about it? So many people are sitting doing something they do not enjoy because they feel they must because they have got bills to pay. Well, take a leap of faith, you might hit a hard time, you might have to cancel your favourite subscription for a little while, and you might struggle for a bit. But in the long run, you will be happier, if you are happier, you won’t be as stressed, if you are less stressed you are healthier, and you can enjoy life.
So, January 2020 was not what I expected, and it feels like so much has happened, but do you know what, not once have I regretted my decision, not once have I been upset, not once have I felt stressed. I have had time to concentrate on myself and think about what I want to do, I have met some amazing people, I have spent time with family, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I have had the opportunity to write, I have sorted out my desk area, I have had time to sleep properly, cook properly etc.
Okay, so I haven’t finished any of the writing, but I have a lot of things started that I am working on.
Remember you are important, and you must do something for yourself occasionally.
With that said, I hope your January went well, have you done any planning for the year? I know I have. I will be back in the next couple of days with plans that I have made so far so stay tuned.
Let me know what you’ve been up to this month in the comments below.
