20 Add Some Spirit…

This is a glitter eye shadow by 17. I love this product. It was a Christmas present quite a few years back (this is a repurchase one) from a family member. It could even be one of my first ‘proper’ eye-shadow pots. When I say proper, I mean on that didn’t come in the sets you would get when you were younger. As usual, the packaging is standard for an eye shadow I think, don’t you? Although it is simple, it is very sleek and is different from others.

One thing I noticed straight away with this shadow is that it is not very pigmented for the glitter and takes a few layers for it to go a nice solid silvery colour on my eyes which are very pale. I don’t mind because I do like the fact you can have a simple splash of sparkle on your eye to finish a look for a daytime special event. On the opposite, you can have pop on your inner corner or a silvery lid. So, this eye shadow is versatile and is always good with any make-up.

As always with a glitter eye shadow keep an eye for fall out, it will go EVERYWHERE!!! An eye primer will help; also having a wet brush will also help the product control where the product is applied. If you use a lot of glittery colours, it might be wise to invest in a fan brush so you can brush away the excess. Let me know if you want a review or a recommendation on what fan brush to look for, I have accumulated 3 or 4 now.

I would recommend this product to anyone, unless you are really picky about fallout or pigmentation, I would buy this product again and I have repurchased it in the past. I would recommend this for a Christmas party, prom, New Year’s Eve, parties in general and possibly a christening depending on how glam you want to look (but maybe stick to a party afterwards, not in the church).
