How many of you are here from part 1? I hope it is most of you, if not all of you! I mean if you haven’t read part 1 you are seriously missing out. If you haven’t read part 1, here is a link to go back and read it (if you want to).
If you don’t want to go back and read part 1, it was just more stationary. More pen-based, like sharpies, paper mate, pilot, and a lot of zebra ha. Today is based around notebooks, washi tapes and other bits and bobs.

Matilda Myres 2022 Rose Gold Wiro A5 Daily Diary
This was a bit of a mission to find. I had a bit of a tall order for what I wanted. I didn’t find the perfect one, but it ticked the most boxes out of the ones I found. You may know that I am a bit of a busy bee, so I like to have everything written down where possible. There were quite a few things that I wanted this year’s planner to have. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the perfect one with everything I wanted but I’ve got close. This is a brand-new design to me. I have never done this format so we shall see how I like it. I like the idea of daily pages, as it will allow me to focus on one day, the only pain will be when I don’t complete my to-do list I will have to flip back and forth a lot. But you never know. I might end up preferring it that way. The main part that is missing is the monthly overview… but I do have a plan with the Agate notebook above to make my own. (Please wish me luck).
The best part about this planner is how beautiful it is. The colours and the quality are amazing. And even better it is a semi-local small business. I bought this on Etsy for a young woman in Glasgow. I have linked it below as always. If I do fall in love with this design… I will be returning next December for a 2023 one. So, fingers, toes, arms, and legs are being crossed.
A6 Blue Quartz Notebook – Should have been £6, I paid £1.50
I will keep this one short and sweet if you aren’t already going insane with me discussing stationery. This one I picked up this one because it was cheap, it was small, and it was a perfect notebook to stick in my bag and carry around with me. You never know when a piece of paper will come in handy!
P.s It is also blue and pretty.
Stick It! Permanent and Semi-Permanent Tape Rollers – £1.99 each
I had been looking for these for a while if I am being honest. I saw a bullet journal YouTubers use (similar ones) and it made me want them. I tried looking on Amazon but because I wasn’t sure what to call them, I struggled to find them. Anyway… in the few weeks in between lockdowns last year, when the shops were open for 2-3 weeks I went to The Range. And I accidentally found these. The excitement in me when I found these in The Range… was possibly a bit childlike, no one saw me though so they will never know. I was desperate to get home and open them to try them out. Now, I do have a confession to make to you all. Are you ready? So, my confession is… I haven’t used these much. I had so many plans for them, but everything has gone a bit upside down for me this year, so I have been naughty and left these collecting dust in a draw.
Pack of 24 Washi Tapes – £5
Washi tape, where to start with washi tape? I should tell you I got these in The Range as well. They were more than I thought they were going to be in price. I probably would have left them if I knew they were £5. I know £5 isn’t that expensive but I wasn’t sure if I would use them or if it would be a waste, so I didn’t want to spend £5 but I did. I can confirm that I haven’t used them much yet, but I do plan to change this. The main thing I am not a great fan of is the inconsistency, some of them are very sticky, some of them break easily, some are not very sticky, some are tough to rip, and they require scissors which puts me off using them. If something is awkward it is likely to end up going in the bin. Stationery is meant to be fun and creative, if you must play a guessing game on if you can break a bit of tape it takes the fun out of it.
Making Waves Navy Dot A5 Desk Pad Paperchase x3 – Should have been £6 each, I paid £2.50 each
These 3 were purchased from the one, the only ‘Paperchase’. It is one of the high-end stationery shops in the UK. A lot of the stuff in there is a bit expensive for me, but when the sale hits, I watch the website like a hawk and typically purchase a couple of bits. (I need to stop though; I have plenty to use up!) The main reason I got myself 3 of these is that they were on offer, and I thought they would be handy to have around. I haven’t had the pleasure of using them yet. I have been using up the bits I already have. I think when I get to them this will be my desk pad.
Black Panda Hugging Twist Pen x2 – Should have been £9.60 each, I paid £4
Another Paperchase purchase…. Does it need an explanation? I mean, look how cute it is! Are you not in love with this beautiful pen? If you hadn’t guessed already, I am a person who always has a pad and pen. I can’t stand my life being on a laptop or a phone. I do as little as possible on my phone. You just don’t get the same satisfaction from a phone, especially from a to-do list! The best part of a to-do list is physically crossing out the jobs, am I right? I should mention that I am OBSESSED with Panda, which is the second reason I got myself a couple of these.
A5 Edinburgh Notebook x3 – Should have been £8 each, I paid £2 each
I will admit now that one of these notebooks was bought as a gift. And one of these has been a gift believe it or not. It was a gift for my grandma who is from Scotland and loves Edinburgh Castle. It’s such a stunning place! She loved it so much, that I decided I would buy two more. Which is why I’ve ended up with 2 myself. I am also a lover of the castle and Scotland in general. The land is so BEAUTIFUL up in the land of Scot. I’d go see it right this second if I had the time and money. So having this notebook sitting on my desk is a reminder of how beautiful Scotland is and how much I need to go back!
Permanent Markers Black Ink (5 Pack) – £5
Who doesn’t love a permanent marker? These come in handy in so many situations, at least they do in my house. We use them to label food, cover addresses, mark various other things and more. Anyway, all I had left in my marker collection are colourful ones. So, when I saw these, I had to grab them. £1 each is pretty good for a marker. And I thought they would be good as they were thinner than my other markers.
Eating Panda Fairy Lights x3 – Should have been £12 each, I paid £5 each
If you don’t know me, you will be thinking why this mad woman has bought panda lights, but if you know me, you will be saying “Soph has bought more panda-related stuff, shocker”. My obsession with panda bears is going strong. I must admit… it is kind of an unnecessary purchase. However, how cool are they, I couldn’t just have them. I like panda bears, I like fairy lights, it’s a win-win. I am not entirely sure what it was that I was looking at when I found these, but I am glad that I found them. As a lover of stationery, it is always a dangerous thing when I see a sale sign in a stationery shop. I ALWAYS buy things I don’t need! I am now wondering why I haven’t got these on a little Christmas tree. That would be very cute, but it might be a tad too late now! They will last well; they are battery-operated so easy enough to replace a battery right. I might just have to dig them out and hang them somewhere for a week.
Bamboo Mechanical Ballpoint Pen – Should have been £9.60, I paid £8
If you hadn’t noticed… I have been into recyclable and economical things lately. (Well, I’ve been trying), so when I saw wooden pens, I had to get them. I didn’t need them, but a wooden pen just seems cool, doesn’t it? I have never seen wooden pens before, they are 99% plastic if you don’t know how bad plastic is by now, I am going to assume you have been living under a very heavy rock.
A5 Leopard Design Lined Case Bound Notebook – £2
Now, this is a beauty don’t you think? If you don’t know, I am a lover of cats, big cats, little cats, domestic cats, and everything cat related. (I love 99% of animals). The main reason I picked this one up from The Works is the cats. And there was a good deal on the price. I didn’t need another notebook, but I just fell in love with the design of this one. I am not sure why this one was different, but The Works did specify that this notebook was lined. As you can see from the images… delivered, the colours are vibrant in real life, so I am very pleased with this purchase.
A4 Black Agate Notebook x3 – Should have been £9 each, I paid £3 each
Firstly, how pretty is this notebook? If you don’t know what Agate is, you are seriously missing out. In short, it is a pretty stone. It comes in various colours and is just a rock formation that looks cool. I found this one in The Works. I am a big fan of that shop; you never know what you are going to buy when you go in there. They are great for funny secret Santa gifts. A lot of their items seem to be on offer and rarely have I had to pay full price for something. It’s great in that way. This notebook was meant to be £9 each, meaning they would have come to £27, I paid £9 for all 3. Is that a good deal or what? I don’t think I would have about 3 if I knew they were plain paper, just because I don’t use much plain paper these days, but I can assure you they will not get wasted. I have started using one as a monthly planner. A bit like a bullet journal, which reminds me. I need to finish my January page.
Assorted Ribbon and Strings – £1 or £2 each
I got most of these from The Range, but I am not entirely sure what I can share about them. I -pretty much just picked them up because I liked the look of them. There was no rhyme or reason behind them, my favourite colours are blues and silvers so a lot of them are along those lines. Other than wrapping presents I am not 100% sure what else I will do with them. Fast forward a bit… I recently injured my ankle. Yes, I did decorate my crutches with this ribbon. I got many compliments on it! I mean… I had to have some fun when I broke my ankle right? I was unable to find the exact ones that I bought on the website. Sorry.
And that concludes this year’s stationery haul. Let me know what you bought in the comment, or maybe what is on your Christmas list, or even what you have bought for someone else this Christmas.
