See… this year is flying by. Halloween is done, fireworks night is done, and Christmas is just weeks away!
I’ve never really been super interested in fireworks, to be honest. Yes, they are fun, colourful, loud and a lot more. But me and standing in the cold will never get on very well! There are a few different names for this day. I know it as Fireworks Night, but it is also known as Bonfire Night, Guy Fawks Night and probably a few other things as well.
You may or may not know why the event is celebrated. I don’t know a great deal about it honestly. I know it links back to about 400 years ago when a group of people tried to destroy the Houses of Parliament.
Me having 4 cats prefer to stay home and make sure they are safe and sound! And I know dogs are known to struggle with the noise of fireworks! Who doesn’t love a good old sparkler though? You don’t need to go to a display to get your hands on one of them.
Although it is a great opportunity to get the family together and see a display somewhere. One of the local shows was free which was nice to hear.
I hope everyone enjoyed the fireworks display and no one got injured, they can be quite dangerous in the wrong hands.
