(161) 12 Days…

It is the 12th of December, which means there are only 12 days until Christmas, 12 days! Who else is excited that there are less than two weeks? Is anyone else freaking out because they haven’t started their Christmas shopping, or you haven’t started wrapping the presents that you have got? I am so unorganised this year. I need to start wrapping, I think I am going to do a proper wrapping session. Make a big mug of tea, put Christmas songs on, maybe a Christmas movie, grab my scissors, and my wrapping bag and go mad!

Usually, I have my own room decorated by December 1st, maybe November who am I kidding, my room is generally decorated in November. There are lights everywhere and presents bought or ordered, wrapping is done, cards are written and everything else that people typically do before Christmas

If I am honest I am not really in the Christmas spirit this year, not sure why. I think it is because I haven’t had much time to think about it and time I just racing by, haven’t even had a chance to wave it by. I have finally got some lights up and I bought myself a small tabletop Christmas tree, and it is alive and still growing. I don’t think it is going to grow really big because it is a house plant. I haven’t named the tree yet; suggestions are always welcome! I am working on getting into the Christmas spirit, getting resents, and getting my cards written and handed to everyone.

Let me know what you are looking forward to this Christmas. Is there something you don’t like about Christmas time? I know driving isn’t as fun over Christmas because it is always so busy. I love wrapping presents, sometimes my parents get me to wrap everything for them but I can only wrap a couple at a time. After doing a few I get bored and fed up. I go to town on the wrapping or at least I try to. There are ribbons, bows, glitter, string, and all sorts. I have a full bag of gift wrap and accessories!
