(27) 1 Month Until ……. Christmas EVE!

Who is excited? I am but I am not at the same time, I am excited that it is Christmas soon as who doesn’t love Christmas, it’s all sparkly and pretty. But I have a lot to do before that happens so it is a little cramped at the minute.

Have you done any Christmas shopping yet? I know of a few people that buy everything on Christmas Eve! My mum left it until Christmas Eve last year, we ended up getting stuck in Asda for about 2 hours as my dad got stuck in standstill traffic coming to pick us up. For those of you not in the UK Asda is a shop that has food, toys, cards, clothes, toiletries, pet food etc. Please plan accordingly when you go out on Christmas Eve, it can end up being a nightmare if you get the home time wrong! Have you written your Christmas present list yet? I don’t really want anything, in particular, this year. Anything I receive will be highly appreciated.

I want a day where I can go and look at the Christmas decorations in the shops! It is always fun just walking through and seeing all the lights, the trees, and the little Santa reading in his chair. I live near a big Homebase and they always make a little scene of things in one corner.

I know a couple of people who already have their trees up and have had them up for well over a week! My cat always climbs through my tree so we can’t have it up too long as it would fall down every time he gets in it. Do you prefer fake or real, I would like a real tree but fake are a lot easier for my family. Perhaps one year I will convince them to get a real one.

It is definitely cold enough for Christmas, it is frosty in the mornings, with crispy grass, and windscreen all iced up! I believe all of these hints mean it is winter.
